Freezed apache2 running as a service
I am not able to uninstall apache2 service in ubuntu server 12.04. When i try to uninstall it from synaptic it displays frozen in green. So i have to kill the process manually. How to resolve this issue.
My system:
ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS

To start a service after its been stopped manually and/or not stopping it at boot, use the service command as follows:
sudo service apache2 start
You can also do this from the command line as follows:
sudo service apache2 start
To stop it after its been started manually and/or not stopping it at boot, use the service command as follows:
